December 3, 2024: Corryton, TN 37721 The Jefferson County Patriots basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Gibbs Eagles to 51 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Maryville for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Jefferson County will confront a Red Rebels team coming off a 62-27 non-league win over Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN). The Red Rebels record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Gibbs falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 1-1.
