Less than 30 seconds after the first whistle 7th grader Amelia Crooks put the first point on the board with an assist from her sister EllaMae Crooks. Gracie Crooks scored a goal in the 6th minute with an assist by Keira Smylie. Smylie added the first of her three goals in the 11th minute. Amelia Crooks scored again in the 16th minute with another assist from Keira Smylie. Smylie then scored the last two goals of her hat trick in the 17th and 20th minutes (assist by Amelia Crooks and Ada Boesch). To keep the score from getting out of hand Coach Aaron Sutter pulled the starters. During that period PSL scored the first goals of the season on the Patriots (21', 45) but after gaining their footing the Patriots roared back in the final minutes of the game with a goal from Gracie Crooks (64'), a goal from senior Lilly Baum (68'), and a goal from senior Suubi Fluker (79').
