Washington High School Basketball - Mariner holds off Burlington-Edison
December 3, 2024: Everett, WA 98204 The Mariner Marauders basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Burlington-Edison Tigers to 50 in the Marauders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Marauders now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Marysville-Pilchuck for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Mariner will confront a Tomahawks team coming off a 46-34 non-league loss to Sehome (Bellingham, WA). The Tomahawks record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Burlington-Edison falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA) to confront the Red Wolves in a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. The Red Wolves go into the game with a record of 1-1. Cedarcrest won 70-51 in their recent non-league game against Juanita (Kirkland, WA)
