December 3, 2024: Norfolk, VA 23505 Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), 78-68 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Norfolk Collegiate advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mighty Oaks travel to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 0-1.
The Greyhounds now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manor for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Norcom will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 52-41 non-league loss to Grafton (Yorktown, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
