Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) backers were thrilled Wednesday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), 57-56 in a non-league game.

The Knights now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Wheatmore for a non-league game on Friday, December 5. Chatham Charter will confront a Warriors team coming off a 59-53 non-league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.

The Cardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Grizzlies enter the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Clover Garden School was nipped by Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC), 73-48, in a non-league outing.
