The Cox Mill Chargers tipped the visiting East Lincoln Mustangs basketball team by a score of 44-41 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Chargers now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Lake Prep for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 4. Cox Mill will battle a Pride team coming off a 73-28 non-league loss to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Pride record now stands at 1-11.

The Mustangs (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Foard (Newton, NC). The Tigers come into the 3A Conference 51 battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Foard was nudged by South Caldwell (Hudson, NC), 52-46, in a non-league battle.
