North Carolina High School Basketball - Cox Mill tops Hough

December 7, 2021: Cornelius, NC 28031

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league test between the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) and the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), witnessed Cox Mill's basketball squad topple Hough by a margin of 50-38.

The Chargers (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils go into the 4A Conference 57 test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Mooresville went down by Garinger (Charlotte, NC), 57-44, in a non-league test.

The Huskies now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Mecklenburg for a 3A/4A Conference 60 test on Thursday, December 9. Hough will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 73-15 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 6-0.
