Michigan High School Basketball - Algonac holds off Memphis
December 30, 2022: Memphis, MI 48041 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI) and the host Memphis Yellowjackets (Memphis, MI), saw Algonac's basketball squad hold off Memphis by a tally of 47-42.
With the victory, Algonac improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Muskrats travel to North Branch (North Branch, MI) to confront the Broncos in a Blue Water Area challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. North Branch won 48-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Capac (Capac, MI)
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the North Huron Warriors (Kinde, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Memphis will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 67-64 non-league loss to Akron-Fairgrove (Fairgrove, MI).
