Massachusetts High School Basketball - Apponequet Regional topped by Middleborough
December 30, 2022: Lakeville, MA 02347 The Middleborough Sachems basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Apponequet Regional Lakers to 44 in the Sachems non-league victory on Friday.
The Sachems now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carver for a South Shore contest on Tuesday, January 3. Middleborough will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 60-48 league win over Mashpee (Mashpee, MA). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-0.
The Lakers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wareham (Wareham, MA). The Vikings come into the South Coast contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Wareham prevailed over Fairhaven (Fairhaven, MA), 74-36, in a league contest.
