The Pollok Central Bulldogs basketball team (Pollok, TX), was nudged 45-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Buna Cougars (Buna, TX)

The Cougars now possess a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barbers Hill for a non-league battle on Friday, December 30. Buna will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-50 non-league win over Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-4.
