In Friday's non-league outing, the Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX), by a margin of 66-47.

The Rangers (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Hurricanes go into the 6A Region III District 20 outing with a 14-6 record. In their last outing, Fort Bend Hightower defeated Dumas Academy (Metairie, LA), 60-50, in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Del Valle for a 6A Region IV District 26 outing on Tuesday, January 3. Dripping Springs will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 60-46 non-league loss to Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-9.
