The Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) basketball crushed the host Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX), 64-36 in Friday's league test.

The Jaguars (23-3) will now prepare for their test against Austin (Austin, TX). The Maroons go into the 6A Region IV District 26 test with a 11-12 record. In their last test, Austin was trounced by Bowie (Austin, TX), 51-42, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Akins for a 6A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Dripping Springs will meet a Eagles team coming off a 76-58 league loss to Anderson (Austin, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-14.
