Louisiana High School Basketball - Riverfield Academy overwhelms Providence Classical Academy
December 30, 2022: Rayville, LA 71269 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Riverfield Academy Raiders (Rayville, LA) and the visiting Providence Classical Academy Knights (Bossier City, LA), saw Riverfield Academy's basketball squad wallop Providence Classical Academy by a tally of 74-40.
With the victory, Riverfield Academy improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Tri-County Academy (Flora, MS) to confront the Rebels in a MAIS 4A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 4-7.
Next up, the Knights confront the Claiborne Academy Rebels (Haynesville, LA) in a MAIS 3A District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Providence Classical Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 43-42 non-league loss to Columbia Christian (Magnolia, AR).
