Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) and the host Knox Redskins (Knox, IN), saw Andrean's basketball squad overcome Knox by a tally of 48-31.

With the victory, Andrean improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Fighting 59ers host Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Hammond Bishop Noll lost 74-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Butler (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Redskins confront the Merrillville Pirates (Merrillville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. Knox will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 47-37 non-league loss to NorthWood (Nappanee, IN).
