The First Baptist Saints basketball team scored 32 points and held the visiting Covenant Classical Cavaliers to 27 in the Saints non-league triumph on Friday.

The Saints now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covenant for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. First Baptist will meet a Knights team coming off a 43-27 non-league loss to Wylie Prep Academy (Wylie, TX). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.

The Cavaliers (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Temple Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles enter the TAPPS 3A District 1 contest with a 5-11 record.
