California High School Basketball - East Union tops Ripon
December 30, 2022: Ripon, CA 95366 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA) and the host Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA), saw East Union's basketball squad knock off Ripon by a tally of 68-48.
With the victory, East Union improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Lancers host Sonora (Sonora, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Sonora won 51-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Linden (Linden, CA)
Next up, the Indians play the Hilmar Yellowjackets (Hilmar, CA) in a Trans Valley League challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Ripon will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 48-36 non-league win over Merced (Merced, CA).
