In Friday's league outing, the West Oso Bears (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX), by a margin of 61-18.

The Bears (15-7) will now prepare for their outing against Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX). The Pirates go into the 4A Region IV District 30 outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Rockport-Fulton smashed Taft (Taft, TX), 72-26, in a non-league outing.
