Washington High School Basketball - Cedarcrest nudges Anacortes
December 30, 2023: Duvall, WA 98019 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Cedarcrest Red Wolves (Duvall, WA) basketball squad edged the visiting Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA), by a margin of 65-59.
The Red Wolves (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mountlake Terrace (Mountlake Terrace, WA). The Hawks go into the 2A/3A Wesco outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Mountlake Terrace was tipped by Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA), 66-64, in a non-league outing.
The Seahawks now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lakewood for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Tuesday, January 2. Anacortes will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 63-57 non-league loss to Selah (Selah, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.
