Kentucky High School Basketball - Anderson County thwarts Beechwood
December 30, 2023: Lawrenceburg, KY 40342 The Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Beechwood Tigers (Fort Mitchell, KY), 46-32 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bearcats (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Golden Lions go into the non-league test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Garrard County went down by Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY), 52-32, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lloyd Memorial for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Beechwood will clash with a Juggernauts squad coming off a 39-37 non-league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, OH). The Juggernauts record now stands at 7-4.
