Keller Central Chargers (Keller, TX) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Denton Broncos (Denton, TX), 55-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Keller Central upgrades its record to 9-14 on the season. The Chargers travel to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX) to play the Panthers in a 6A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Fossil Ridge lost 75-39 in their recent league bout against Keller (Keller, TX)

Next up, the Broncos play the Lake Dallas Falcons (Corinth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Denton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-14 season record.
