January 16, 2024: North Richland Hills, TX 76180 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Denton Broncos (Denton, TX) and the host Richland Royals (North Richland Hills, TX), saw Denton's basketball squad wallop Richland by a count of 63-38.
With the victory, Denton upgrades its record to 12-16 on the campaign. The Broncos host Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX) to play the Panthers in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 19-5. Colleyville Heritage won 47-42 in their recent league challenge against Grapevine (Grapevine, TX)
Next up, the Royals play the Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Richland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 22-3 record after their 64-45 league win over Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX).
