Arkansas High School Basketball - Lonoke fells Wynne
December 30, 2023: Lonoke, AR 72086 Lonoke Jackrabbits (Lonoke, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wynne Yellowjackets (Wynne, AR), 61-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lonoke upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Jackrabbits host Robinson (Little Rock, AR) to clash with the Senators in a 4A Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Senators go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Robinson lost 67-35 in their recent non-league bout against Parkview (Little Rock, AR)
Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the Trumann Wildcats (Trumann, AR) in a 4A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Wynne will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 70-31 non-league win over Cave City (Cave City, AR).
