Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pomeroy Pirates (Pomeroy, WA) and the host Waitsburg Cardinals (Waitsburg, WA), saw Pomeroy's basketball squad wallop Waitsburg by a tally of 66-30.

With the victory, Pomeroy improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Genesee (Genesee, ID) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-8.
