New York High School Basketball - Troy topped by Shenendehowa
December 30, 2023: Troy, NY 12180 The Shenendehowa Plainsmen basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Troy Flying Horses to 46 in the Plainsmen non-league victory on Saturday.
The Plainsmen now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Tech for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Shenendehowa will battle a Eagles team coming off a 66-63 non-league loss to Rockledge (Rockledge, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
The Flying Horses (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Flying Dutchmen come into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Guilderland was defeated by Pittsfield (Pittsfield, MA), 76-33, in a non-league contest.
