New Jersey High School Basketball - West Windsor-Plainsboro South nips Spotswood
December 30, 2023: Princeton Junction, NJ 08550 West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates (Princeton Junction, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ), 70-65 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, West Windsor-Plainsboro South upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Pirates host Steinert (Hamilton, NJ) to play the Spartans in a Colonial Valley bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Steinert won 47-45 in their recent non-league bout against Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ)
Next up, the Chargers play the Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Blue bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Spotswood will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 59-58 non-league loss to North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ).
