New Jersey High School Basketball - Spotswood tops Allentown
January 20, 2024: Spotswood, NJ 08884 Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Allentown Redbirds (Allentown, NJ), 73-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Spotswood upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ) to play the Bulldogs in a Greater Middlesex - Blue bout on Monday, January 22. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 8-7. Metuchen lost 57-47 in their recent league bout against South River (South River, NJ)
Next up, the Redbirds play the Steinert Spartans (Hamilton, NJ) in a Colonial Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Allentown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 51-39 league loss to Trenton Central (Trenton, NJ).
