Texas High School Basketball - Granbury succumbs to Estacado
December 30, 2023: Granbury, TX 76048 The Estacado Matadors topped the host Granbury Pirates basketball team by a final score of 51-41 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Matadors face the Sweetwater Mustangs (Sweetwater, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 game, on Friday, January 5. Estacado will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record.
With the defeat, Granbury moves to 13-9 on the year. The Pirates travel to Rider (Wichita Falls, TX) to face the Raiders in a 5A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, January 2. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 5-10. Rider lost 60-24 in their recent non-league game against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX)
