The Matadors now possess a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Levelland for a 4A Region I District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Estacado will confront a Lobos team coming off a 61-23 league win over Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 25-2.
The Chiefs (0-22) will now prepare for their battle against Big Spring (Big Spring, TX). The Steers come into the 4A Region I District 5 battle with a 1-19 record. In their last battle, Big Spring was overwhelmed by Snyder (Snyder, TX), 78-30, in a league battle.
