Northwood Falcons (Shreveport, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Homer Pelicans (Homer, LA), 52-23 in a non-league test.

The Falcons (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Bearcats go into the non-league test with a 13-6 record.

The Pelicans now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Winnfield for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Homer will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 39-28 non-league loss to North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-8.
