Oregon High School Basketball - Madras holds off Sisters
December 30, 2023: Sisters, OR 97759 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Madras White Buffaloes (Madras, OR) and the host Sisters Outlaws (Sisters, OR), saw Madras's basketball squad hold off Sisters by a tally of 48-41.
With the victory, Madras improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The White Buffaloes host Baker (Baker City, OR) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Baker lost 65-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Crater (Central Point, OR)
Next up, the Outlaws confront the Pleasant Hill Billies (Pleasant Hill, OR) in a 3A Mountain Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Sisters will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Billies come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 44-36 non-league win over Monroe (Monroe, OR).
