The Northfield Norsemen (Wabash, IN) basketball crushed the visiting Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN), 55-34 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Norsemen (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Lewis Cass (Walton, IN). The Kings go into the Three Rivers test with a 12-2 record.

The Knights now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Marion for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 3. Southwood will encounter a Giants squad coming off a 41-22 non-league loss to Eastern (Greentown, IN). The Giants record now stands at 1-13.
