Washington High School Basketball - Kelso tipped by Mark Morris
December 30, 2023: Longview, WA 98632 The Mark Morris Monarchs basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Kelso Hilanders to 32 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Monarchs now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hockinson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Mark Morris will meet a Hawks team coming off a 49-45 non-league win over Shelton (Shelton, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 7-5.
The Hilanders (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage (Vancouver, WA). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Heritage was nudged by Columbia River (Vancouver, WA), 49-33, in a non-league contest.
