Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA) and the visiting Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA), saw Pioneer's basketball squad wallop Pierce by a tally of 77-38.

With the victory, Pioneer improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Dixon (Dixon, CA) to confront the Rams in a challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Dixon lost 82-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA)
