December 30, 2024: Norton, VA 24273 Central Wise Warriors (Norton, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA), 68-49 in a league match.
With the victory, Central Wise upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to John Battle (Bristol, VA) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 2-6.
The Bears now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Honaker for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15.
