Ohio High School Basketball - Chardon holds off West Geauga
December 30, 2024: Chesterland, OH 44026 The Chardon Hilltoppers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host West Geauga Wolverines to 48 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Hilltoppers now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Madison for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Chardon will confront a Blue Streaks team coming off a 68-52 league win over Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, West Geauga falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host North (Eastlake, OH) to confront the Rangers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Rangers go into the game with a record of 5-3. North won 59-56 in their recent non-league game against Kirtland (Kirtland, OH)
