Ohio High School Basketball - Chardon overwhelms Lakeside
December 27, 2024: Ashtabula, OH 44004 The Chardon Hilltoppers basketball team scored 85 points and limited the host Lakeside Dragons to 62 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hilltoppers now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Harvey for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Chardon will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 55-51 league win over Orange (Pepper Pike, OH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Lakeside falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Conneaut (Conneaut, OH) to confront the Spartans in a Chagrin Valley - Lake game on Monday, December 30. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 1-6. Conneaut lost 78-49 in their recent non-league game against Grand Valley (Orwell, OH)
