Washington, DC High School Basketball - McKinley Tech triumphant over Digital Pioneers Academy
December 30, 2024: Washington, DC 20002 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the McKinley Tech Trainers (Washington, DC) and the visiting Digital Pioneers Academy Pythons (Washington, DC), observed McKinley Tech's basketball team overwhelm Digital Pioneers Academy by a score of 65-44.
The Trainers (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Suitland (Forestville, MD). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Suitland trounced Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD), 78-69, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Pythons encounter the Idea Timberwolves (Washington, DC) in a PCSAA A challenge, on Friday, January 3. Digital Pioneers Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 56-53 non-league loss to Ron Brown (Washington, DC).
