North Dakota High School Basketball - East Grand Forks can't get by Grand Forks Central
December 30, 2024: Grand Forks, ND 58203 Grand Forks Central Knights (Grand Forks, ND) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting East Grand Forks Green Wave (East Grand Forks, MN), 84-77 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Grand Forks Central advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Fargo North (Fargo, ND) to meet the Spartans in a AA East match on Friday, January 3. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 2-5. Fargo North won 97-86 in their recent non-league match against Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN)
The Green Wave now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pelican Rapids for a AA Section 8 match on Friday, January 3. East Grand Forks will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 69-60 non-league win over West Central Area (Barrett, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 9-0.
