December 30, 2024: Midland, MI 48640 Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Calvary Baptist Academy Kings (Midland, MI), 53-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Breckenridge advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Huskies travel to Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI) to meet the Wolverines in a Mid-State match on Tuesday, January 7. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 1-4. Vestaburg lost 44-33 in their recent league match against Fulton (Middleton, MI)
The Kings now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beaverton for a non-league match on Monday, January 6. Calvary Baptist Academy will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 47-34 non-league loss to Roscommon (Roscommon, MI). The Beavers record now stands at 3-2.
