In Monday's non-league test, the Central City Bison (Central City, NE) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE), by a score of 47-38.

Next, the Bison encounter the Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 2. Central City will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 7-1 record after their 62-39 non-league win over Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE).
