The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Central Spartans (El Centro, CA), observed Montgomery's basketball team overwhelm Central by a score of 56-29.

The Aztecs (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Highlanders come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Helix trounced Central (El Centro, CA), 60-32, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Central will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record.
