California High School Basketball - Montgomery nips Helix

January 4, 2025: San Diego, CA 92154

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Montgomery Aztecs basketball team scored a close 44-39 triumph over the Helix Highlanders.

The Aztecs (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Norsemen go into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Bishop's Knights (La Jolla, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Helix will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 81-48 non-league loss to Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA).
