California High School Basketball - Vincent Memorial nips Helix

December 7, 2024: La Mesa, CA 91941

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Vincent Memorial Scots basketball team scored a close 56-51 triumph over the Helix Highlanders.

The Scots (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Brawley (Brawley, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Brawley was tipped by Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ), 55-24, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots (San Diego, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Helix will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Pilots go into the contest with a 0-7 record after their 52-26 non-league loss to Bishop's (La Jolla, CA).
