Ohio High School Basketball - Chippewa can't hold off Highland

December 30, 2024: Doylestown, OH 44230

The Highland Hornets nipped the host Chippewa Chipps basketball squad by a final score of 54-53 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Hornets face the Copley Indians (Copley, OH) in a Suburban - American outing, on Saturday, January 4. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 11-0 season record. The Indians enter the outing with a 8-2 record after their 45-30 non-league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, OH).

The Chipps (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Northwestern (West Salem, OH). The Huskies enter the Wayne County outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Northwestern was nipped by Dalton (Dalton, OH), 57-20, in a league outing.
