Michigan High School Ice Hockey - West Bloomfield holds off Oxford
December 31, 2022: Oxford, MI 48371 The West Bloomfield Lakers edged the host Oxford Wildcats ice hockey squad by a count of 4-3 in Saturday's league bout.
With the victory, West Bloomfield moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lakers host Novi (Novi, MI) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-8.
The Wildcats now sport a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. Oxford will confront a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 1-0.
