The Kennard Tigers basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Cushing Bearkats to 43 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Martinsville for a 1A Region IV District 27 game on Friday, January 3. Kennard will confront a Pirates team coming off a 54-12 non-league loss to Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 11-10.

With the loss, Cushing falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Bearkats travel to Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 22 game on Friday, January 3.
