Illinois High School Basketball - Mundelein ripped by Evanston
December 4, 2021: Mundelein, IL 60060 The Evanston Wildkits basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Mundelein Mustangs to 37 in the Wildkits non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildkits now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenbrook North for a Central Suburban - South contest on Friday, December 10. Evanston will meet a Spartans team coming off a 71-40 league win over Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 5-0.
The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Waukegan (Waukegan, IL). The Bulldogs enter the North Suburban contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Waukegan was routed by Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 69-28, in a non-league contest.
