Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Forest tops Evanston
January 29, 2022: Evanston, IL 60201 Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL), 54-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lake Forest upgrades its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Scouts host Libertyville (Libertyville, IL) to play the Wildcats in a North Suburban bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 20-6. Libertyville won 55-38 in their recent non-league bout against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL)
Next up, the Wildkits play the Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) in a Central Suburban - South bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Evanston will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 14-9 record after their 57-43 non-league win over Chicago Marshall (Chicago, IL).
