Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX), 75-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Panhandle upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hereford (Hereford, TX) to play the Whitefaces in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Whitefaces go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Hereford lost 38-33 in their recent non-league bout against Sundown (Sundown, TX)

Next up, the Roughnecks play the Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Sundown will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record.
