The Southern Christian Patriots (Opelika, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Grace Christian Crusader (Columbus, GA), 53-23 in Monday's non-league test.

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Wiregrass (Dothan, AL). The Kings go into the Alabama Christian Sports test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Wiregrass walloped Byne Christian (Albany, GA), 72-56, in a non-league test.

The Crusader now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bible Baptist Christian for a GCAA Region III test on Tuesday, December 5. Grace Christian will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 58-47 non-league loss to North Georgia Christian Academy (Ellijay, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
